Each member of the ORT family plays an important role in changing peoples' lives. Since the majority of ORT SA's students are unemployed and live in abject poverty, they cannot afford to pay for training and education to turn around their circumstances. To continue providing the infrastructure for such
important projects free of charge to those who really need it, your support really counts.
Our achievements over the past years have proven the value of ORT’s exceptionally relevant programmes:

Scores of teachers in Jewish day schools in Gauteng and the Western Cape are currently receiving training in Technology education.

Thousands of learners in schools throughout the Western Cape, Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal are learning technology from ORT-trained educators.

Hundreds of young adults entered the country’s workforce equipped with the necessary skills to begin careers.

As you know, ORT JET (Jewish Entrepreneurial Trust) helps and revives, through mentoring and advice, ailing Jewish-owned business. To date, we have assisted 55 businesses, and have 160 volunteer consultants on board.

ORT Bursary Trust gave opportunities to 19 Jewish students to continue their studies.

ORT SA continues to assist World ORT, which reaches out to every continent on the planet. Thousands of people each year embark upon productive careers, equipped with knowledge and skills acquired at our schools and
educational centres throughout the world.
