Empowering your Habits Part 6 with Tracey Bosch

Benjamin Franklin once said, “By failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail.” Planning is essential because it helps to put everything in its place and to prioritize what is truly important.

To help us in this regard, on the 9th of November, Tracey Bosch returned for the grand finale of Empowering your Habits as she focused on the importance of action plans. In this article, we review what transpired in this incredible webinar:

We need to remember that your life will only start changing when you start changing the way you see your life and when you change certain things that you do in your life.

When it comes to action plans, it is essential to ask yourself: what is your plan?

By asking yourself this question, it will help you establish and accomplish what you need to do.

Question: How do I put my plan on paper?

The answer would be to make a to-do list. However, when making our to-do list, we need to keep these pointers in mind:

  • It must have checked off block/s – most people like to cross out the tasks they are busy with or have completed.
  • It must be in priority – there is no point in planning for things next month when there are things to do now.

It is common for us to always say that we have so much to do in so little time. It happens because we are people pleasers, which leads us to have unhealthy boundaries and not consider our own needs. However, there is a solution to this problem.

For starters, you can do the following:

  • Set healthy boundaries: You can still be a people pleaser and set healthy boundaries.
  • Learn how to say no – When someone can identify that they can take advantage of you, they will take advantage of you.

In conclusion, we need to make life fun because once you start getting into that routine and it starts to become a habit, you will look forward to each day.
