ORT SA IS THRILLED TO CONTRIBUTE IN THE FOLLOWING WAYS ON
MANDELA DAY 2016:
1. Join us at the San Kapano Centre, Alexandra at 10:00 to hear about a new course that ORT SA is offering to young unemployed people to gain skills for job seeking. The one-day course includes CV writing, interview skills, people skills, budgeting etc. There is no charge!
2. Together with over a hundred volunteers from all walks of life, ORT SA will be running a programme on the day for primary school pupils in Ivory Park and Vosloorus on the ‘Bill of Responsibilities’
. Our constitution grants us ‘rights’ but what responsibilities come with this? This is captured in a fun “game” which will be rolled out in 55 classes to over 2700 children. We can’t wait!
