ORT SA is very proud to announce that the Pace Commerce and Entrepreneurship School of Specialisation in Jabulani, Soweto took second place at the Coding and Robotics Provincial competition held at Alberton High School last weekend.
The British Council and the Gauteng Department of Education organized the event. The competition was very stiff, with 22 high schools from Gauteng competing against each other to test their skills in analytical, critical, practical, and creative thinking.
The ORT SA Coding and Robotics programme form part of ORT SA’s initiative to take ICT and STEM skills to schools and communities through coding courses to bring these 21st-century skills to learners eager to absorb need-to-know tech knowledge at school and beyond.
