“Accept the difficulty of what you cannot yet change. But do not accept the impossibility of ever-changing it.”
Now, one may ask, what does this mean?
Simply put, it means that as dire as situations can get from time to time, there is always room to make the best of unpleasant circumstances and The Coronation YES Work Experience Project reflects precisely that.
But in this article, we delve deep into not the project itself but how ORT SA has significantly impacted Dzulananne Daswa.
“When I applied for the digital skills programme last year, I never thought it would lead me here. I participated in the programme from September to December. After the program ended, I was surprised to receive a call from ORT SA inviting me for a Zoom interview. I was one of the lucky ones to be hired.
Being part of the ORT SA team has been a great experience. I love ORT SA because they are changing youth lives; they have helped thousands and thousands of youth get work experience. Since I have joined ORT SA, I have learned and gained so much knowledge. I have done IT essentials and Google CS short courses that I know will benefit me. If it were not for ORT SA, I would not be where I am today. I thank you, ORT SA continue making youth employable.”
