ORT SA hosted a business plan competition at Northam Comprehensive in Limpopo which was won by Thandeka Msibi. Thandeka is a beneficiary of the ORT SA YES(Youth Empowerment Services) 12 months work experience programme sponsored by Anglo American.
She is the proud owner of Bespoke Mobile Spa, a nail salon on the go. Thandeka’s research in the community highlighted the lack of professional nail salons to meet the demand of the area and has said that the prize money will assist her with launching her business as she has future plans of expansion into hairdressing as well. She is a tenacious entrepreneur with plans of training and employing youth in the community as her business grows.
