Nomalakhi Majola is an administration assistant at Lilydale Primary School, Soweto, Johannesburg. She has said that 2021 was the most challenging year of her life as she lost her job because of the COVID-19 pandemic and therefore had no income. When the opportunity came to join the YES programme at ORT SA, she grabbed it with both hands. “It changed my life in so many ways.
