The 47th Annual ORT SA Golf Classic
“To some golfers, the greatest handicap is the ability to add correctly.”
As humorous as that statement is, there is a certain amount of truth to it. At ORT SA, we are ecstatic to announce to all golfers and sponsors that we will be hosting the 47th Annual ORT SA Golf Classic at the Killarney Country Club on the 3rd of November 2021.
We appeal to you to join this momentous event as we try to raise funds to educate young individuals for life by doing the following:
- facilitating Science, Mathematics, IT, Coding & Robotics and Professional Learning Community lessons with the help of the ORT SA STEM Department.
- facilitating ORT SA Career Hub webinars that provide talks and guidance about entering the job market; CV writing, and upskilling youth for jobs needed by the current workforce.
- partnering with YES to give youth a one-year job placement opportunity that includes computer & business skills training for entrepreneurs, including disabled learners.
- facilitating business growth through upskilling mentorship and networking opportunities with the help of the ORT JET Department.
- providing bursaries for Jewish students in need of financial assistance at the tertiary level with the help of the ORT Bursary Trust.
